The winners of Nigeria’s MTN Street Soccer Championship have arrived in Ghana on a visiting tour.

The team will have the opportunity to exchange programme with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) while Ghanaian legend, Abedi Pele, will take the tourists on both theoretical and practical aspects of football.

The team comprises 10 players and two officials, who will be led by the Local Organising Committee members, Prince Kosoko, Austin Akosa, a CAF instructor and FIFA official, Dele Gbajumo and Braimoh Bashir, Director Finance and Administrator in the Office of Sports.

Bashir urged the players to be good ambassadors of Nigeria, Lagos State and MTN Nigeria, which provided the platform for them to travel to Ghana, adding that they must make a mark in Ghana by addressing themselves to what it takes to be successful.

CAF instructor, Austin Akosa, said the players should thank God and Governor Babatunde Fashola, as well as MTN Nigeria for embarking on a tour of Ghana, which would add value and also help them to improve on their skills.

He urged the players to be disciplined and also keep to camp rules and regulations, as he wished the team the best of luck in the forthcoming Season 6, MTN Lagos Street Soccer Championship.
