Nigeria's Super Falcons head coach Florence Omagbemi is left disappointed a penalty was not award to her side in their 1-1 stalemate with Ghana in the 2016 AWCON.

Asistat Oshoala opened the scoring for Super Falcons in the 22nd minute. The striker who netted four in her first game against Mali proved her worth again as she connected from close range.

But Black Queens levelled the score through Elizabeth Addo. The midfielder calmly converted a spot kick in the waning moments to ensure the first half ended in a share of spoils.

Though Omagbemi feels both sides played well and the draw is a true reflection of the game, she feels disappointed in a penalty that was not award to her side.

"The foul on Asisat Oshoala was a clear penalty in my own assessment. I was disappointed in the referee not making the call. We were not over confident after the 6-0 victory over Mali," she told the media.

"Today, we played against a good team and it was a good match by both teams. A draw (1-1) is not a bad result. We played well and were not expecting to draw.

I'm looking forward to the game with Kenya and get a good result. We just want to play convincingly against Kenya and hopefully top the group."

Ghana take on Mali while Nigeria face Kenya in the final group games.
