Daniel Nii Adjei and Yaw Frimpong have left the Black Stars camp to return to their base in DR Congo.

The TP Mazembe duo were handed late call ups to join the Ghana camp for Tuesday’s friendly match against Congo.

The international friendly which Ghana won with a 3-2 scoreline was played to mark the official opening of the newly constructed Kintele Stadium – built to host the 2015 All Africa Games.

Daniel Nii Adjei and Yaw Frimpong were not originally part of the 24-man squad named by Avram Grant for this month’s games, in particular the 2017 AFCON qualifier against Rwanda.

They were called up to fill the void created by the delayed arrival of some of the players in the original squad.

The duo are needed back at their club to prepare for their CAF Champions League match against Moghreb Tetouan.
