No injury worries for Ghana coach ahead of Sudan clash

Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic go into Saturday afternoon's final 2012 Nations Cup qualifier against Sudan with no injury concerns.

The Serb will have a pool of fit players to name his starting line-up against a side who have improved drastically over the last 12 months.

Stevanovic supervised three incident-free training sessions at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi before emplaning to Sudan on Thursday.

Ghana captain John Mensah, who missed last month's penultimate qualifier at home, says his teammates are as fit as a fiddle.

"We have no injury concerns. Our training camp in Kenya was very tough and fruitful but we all came through with no problems," Mensah told MTNFootball.com.

"With the fitness level we displayed in Kenya, I have no doubt that we will be ready for the tough challenge in Sudan and we will survive."

Ghana are top in Group I with 13 points but lead their opponents on goal difference.

The Black Stars need just a point to earn their place in the finals next year.

The match will be played at the Al Hilal Stadium in Omdurman at 13:00 GMT.
