Enoch Adu Kofi is happy with Nordsjaelland’s pre-season progress ahead of the commencement of the Danish League this weekend.

The 21-year-old midfielder was key to the Farum’s club surge to Premier League success last term and are getting ready to mount a staunch title defence in the upcoming campaign.

The team camped in the Dutch city of Delden for two weeks where they played three friendly games against Helsingborg, Lens and Twente.

Though haven lost all three friendlies, the former Ghana youth star believes his team is on the right track in their bid to defend their league crown and also make a meaningful impact in next season’s Uefa champions League.

“It has been a fantastic pre-season so far and the exercises were very positive,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“We know it will be very difficult to retain our league title especially with all eyes on us therefore its important we prepare very well.

“And the training in Holland has helped as a lot because we have seen our weaknesses as a team and how to work on them before we start the season.”

The Danish League kicks off this weekend but Nordsjaelland will not be in action until Monday when they open their league defence away to Horsens – the same side their thrashed on the final day to clinch last season’s championship.
