Ghanaian defender Nuru Sulley says he is working round the clock to ensure he continues his splendid form in the Turkish Super Lig after helping his team gain promotion last season.

The former Hearts of Oak hard tackling defender who can also play in midfield enjoyed arguably his best season in his career after playing a stellar role to help Alanyanspor gain promotion to the Turkish top flight.

His performance in the Turkish top flight has attracted interest in Europe but the defender who is currently in Pre-season with his club says he is not letting issues of transfer distract him as he prepares for a major season.

“It has not been easy so far but I have to ensure that I am in the best shape going into the season,” Sulley told Accra based Citi-fm

“I know and I have read some stuff but the most important thing for me now is ensure I am ready for the season and play very well for my club.”

"If anything happens cool but if not i have to get back to work really hard."

The robust defender was a member of Ghana’s local Black Stars team which finished second during the CHAN in South Africa 2014.
