Newly-promoted side Nzema Kotoko are set to explode in Ghana's second-tier league this season.

Kotoko secured qualification to the country's National Division One League at the expense of former Premier League campaigners Prestea Mine Stars.

The Nzema-based side will likely enjoy the support of the famous Kotoko club ahead of their involvement in the second-tier league next year.

The striking name resemblance with Ghana's most powerful club, Kotoko has sparked widespread joy among their teeming followers.

Kotoko supporters will certainly throw their weight behind their 'baby' team ahead of their participation in the league.

The Western region-based side have started work on their newly-acquired training pitch at Asanta in the Ellembelle District.

They will be joined by Karela FC in zone two of the National Division One League next year.
