Oduro will join up with the Black Stars for the first time on Monday when they open camp in Philadelphia ahead of Wednesday's friendly with Chile.

The stirker says he wants to be a key player for the Black Stars to ensure future call-ups.

"I still have to work hard just to keep the calls coming. I don’t want this to be a one-time thing," Oduro said.

"I’m hoping I’ll go in and perform well and get called in for other upcoming games. I’m blessed to have this opportunity."
