Oduro Nyarko expects Ghana Under-17 coach coach Evans Adotey to keep his job despite the failure of his team to replicate their performance at the World stage in Azerbaijan two years ago.

The Black Maidens could only manage a quarter-final berth at the ongoing FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup after falling to Italy in what many have attributed to bad officiating.

The ex-Medeama trainer will know his fate in the coming weeks as the Ghana FA is yet to evaluate his performance.

But Oduro Nyarko, who serves as the vice-chairman of the Black Maidens management committee,  has backed Adotey to keep his job.

“We eliminated Japan from Azerbaijan 2012 and if we had beaten Italy, we would have faced Japan and I think she (the referee) made sure we did not advance to meet Japan,” he told Power FM

"She was prejudiced already so as for Adotey, he is a good coach and must be maintained.

“Look on the scale 100%, I will give him 70."
