Francis Oduro Sarfo has confirmed his resignation as General Manager of Ghana Premier League club Berekum Chelsea.

Sarfo quits his job after an internal dispute with Chief Executive Officer Nana Kwame Nketia.

The ex administrator for King Faisal has been with the Blues for over four years now.

He was instrumental in the transfer of Solomon Asante, Richard Kiss Boateng and Gladson Awako to DR Congo giants TP Mazembe.

The absence of club President Emmanuel Kyeremeh is believed to have also played a major role in Sarfo’s resignation.

But the outspoken administrator refused to give reasons for his decision.

“I have not written to them officially but I have given verbal indication to the club owners of my decision to quit the job,” Sarfo confirmed to Happy FM.

“I was appointed by word of mouth and therefore I used the same means to disappoint myself.

“I wasn’t sacked, I resigned. If I they had the intent to sack me, that is a different case.”
