Newcastle United have confirmed goalkeeper Tim Krul has joined Ajax on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has just signed a one-year contract extension at St. James' Park until 2018 but will play in the Eredivisie next season to replace Jasper Cillessen, who has officially joined Barcelona yesterday.
