David Duncan will be unveiled as new Kotoko coach on Thursday after signing a two-year deal with the club, the club has confirmed.

The former Hearts trainer officially put pen-to-paper on Wednesday moments after arriving in Kumasi.

He has been tasked to revive the side’s downward spiral in the Ghanaian top-flight.

“Coach David Duncan will be formally introduced to the media and the general public at Kotoko’s secretariat in Kumasi on Thursday at 9:30am, a report on the club’s official website said.

Duncan guided the team to a goalless draw game against El Eulma in the first leg tie of the 1/16th stage of the CAF Champions League last Saturday.

He will take charge of his first official duty when the Porcupine Warriors travel to Bechem to face Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
