Former Asante Kotoko defender Kwabena Edusei has signed a long term contract with Mpumalanga Black Aces, the Premier Soccer League side have confirmed.

A club statement read: “Black Aces are delighted to finally announce the signing of Ghana international defender Kwabena Adusei on a long term contract.”

The centre-back rejected a contract extension and absconded to South Africa to sign for the Clive Barker’s side.

He joins compatriot Edwin Gyimah who moved from SuperSport United this transfer window.

Three months ago, Black Aces announced they had signed the Local Black Stars stalwart only for the player to come out to deny the move.

Adusei, 27, caught the eyes of the club during the 2014 CHAN tournament where he played a role in Ghana’s silver medal winning feat.
