OFFICIAL: Egyptian outfit Petrojet announce signing of Ghanaian striker Shaibu Yakubu

Egyptian outfit Petrojet announced the signing of Ghana striker Shaibu Yakubu on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the North African side after leaving Turkish second-tier side 1461 Trabzon.

The former Ghana goal king signed the dotted lines after passing a medical at the Suez-based side.

Yakubu, a former Ashantigold goal machine has previously played for Turkish sides Kartalspor and Hacettepe S.K as well as Cypriot outfit Enosis Neon Paralimni.

He was member of Ghana’s Under-23 team which clinched bronze at the 2003 All Africa Games in Nigeria.
