German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed opening talks to sign Ghana international Kevin Prince Boateng who is now a free agent.

The 30-year-old terminated his Spanish La Liga side Las Palmas on Wednesday days to the start of the season.

Boateng cited personal reasons for severing ties with the La UD.

He had a successful debut season with Las Palmas and was the club's top scorer with 10 goals.

German portals are reporting that the Berlin born Ghana international has already engineered negotiations to get a smooth return to the Bundesliga.
