Christopher Bonney officially completes a 3 yrs move to Hearts

Former Asante Kotoko defender Christopher Bonney has officially completed his long awaited move to former Premier League champions Accra Hearts of Oak.

Bonney, 19, signed a three year deal with the Phobians after impressing the technical handlers in the just ended GHALCA G8 Tournament.

GHANAsoccernet.com had reported a few months ago that the intelligent full back agreed to join Hearts of Oak on a three-year deal after successful talks with the recruitment committee of the Phobians.

The former Kotoko right back terminated his contract with Ebusua Dwarfs about a month ago following an inconsistent season with the Cape Coast side.

The defender who is well-skilled in the art of taking set-pieces was at the Hearts Secretariat with his agent Mkysports Management on Monday where he finally signed the three year deal.

The 19-year old who has long wished to join the former Ghana Premier League champions is expected to wrestle for the right back position with Fatawu Mohammed, an attempt to introduce competitiveness in the side.

He started his premeir league experience at Dwarfs for one year and moved to Kotoko for two seasons and returned to Dwarfs for another seasons.

Bonney is a product of Winneba Sports Academy and Unistar Academy at Kasoa in the Central Region.

Bonney was also selected for 2015 U-17 side but was disqualified by the MRI scan.

He also featured for Ghana's U-20 side.
