Ghanaian winger Francis Coffie has finally penned a new one-year contract extension with Sudanese giants Al Merreikh.
Coffie exceeded expectations in his one-year stint where he helped them the Red Devils to win the Sudanese Premier League and reach the semi-final of the CAF Champions League.
The former Medeama SC player was promised a new deal but talks delayed.
He had earlier claimed newly-crowned African champions TP Mazembe were interested in his services.
Coffie will play alongside compatriot Augustine Okrah who has one year left on his contract.
