Through an official note, Udinese announced Italian 65-year old Luigi Gigi Delneri replaced Giuseppe Iachini as Zebrette manager. Delneri, who collected several experiences in more than 30 years as a professional trainer, working for Lazio, AS Roma, Juventus, Sampdoria and Porto, among many others, had been an Udinese player, back in 1978/79 and 1979/80.
