Kotoko have completed the signing of promising winger Richard Mpong, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 21-year has finally signed the dotted lines in time before the transfer window shut on Friday evening.

While no fee has been announced, it is understood the Ghanaian Champions paid a hefty fee to secure the services of the highly-rated player.

With a year left on his contract, the Tarwaka-based side opted to do business since the player was angling for a move to his boyhood club.

Mpong is considered as one of the rising stars in the country and his capture will excite the club's teeming followers.

The 21-year-old was a member of the Ghana Under-17 team who finished fourth at the 2007 FIFA World Cup in Korea.

He played a key role for the Ghana Under-23 side who won gold at the 2011 All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique.
