Through a note posted on his own Twitter profile, French striker Valère Germain (26), set to join AS Monaco back after having spent last season playing on loan for OGC Nice, stated:
"I never refused to meet AS Monaco executives, at all. Now I'm in Spain, enjoying my holidays, and my main purpose is resting after such a good season at Nice, and being ready for next one. We'll surely meet and discuss about my own future, when I'll land back to France".
