General Manager of Great Olympics Oloboi Commodore has urged football advocates in the country to calm down as they try to bring sanity to Ghana football.

The 2017/18 Ghana Premier League which was supposed to commence this weekend has been postponed indefinitely after Great Olympics serve the nation's football governing body with an injunction letter in protest against Bechem United for fielding an unqualified player against them last season - this makes it the second time after the first starting was also met with this same issue.

“We are pleading with all the football clubs and its supporters to bear with us for the court injunction placed on the league.

“We are doing this to clear all the rubbish or garbage at the GFA for sanity to prevail," Commodore told

He added, “The secretariat of GFA must be able to work efficiently whether the GFA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi is present or absent in the country," he added.

The first hearing of the case has been set for March 15, 2018.
