Goalkeeper of Great Olympics Michael Sai is confident of continuing their recent good run in the Ghana Premier League when they play against Medeama SC on match day 23 on Sunday.

The Dade Boys have collected four points from their last two outings as the race to beat the drop hots up and will hope to extend that run when they welcome Medeama SC to the Accra Sports Stadium in week 23 on Sunday.

Sai, who has been instrumental in the club’s resurgent run, holds that recording a win over the Mauve and Yellows will be key in their bid to escape the doldrums.

Speaking on Happy FM’s Saturday Sports, the former Ghana youth international emphasized, “As we can see, the race to escape relegation is getting increasingly difficult because the teams around us are winning their games. Elmina Sharks went to Dansoman of all places to pick maximum points against Liberty, so I think we have to work extra to achieve our goal.”

“Nothing is impossible in football and I believe if we can maintain the form we’ve exhibited in our last two games, we can finish the league on a high. We have to beat Medeama on Sunday to keep our dreams alive and I’m confident that our position on the table will change this week with a win,” Sai added.

Olympics occupy 14th position on the standings with 23 points, three points from safety with eight games to the end of the season.
