Ghana’s World Cup opponent Portugal have settled on Princeton, USA as their camping base while lining up friendlies against Greece, Mexico and Republic of Ireland ahead of the tournament's commencement in Brazil.
The Selecao have also lined up two friendly matches while in New Jersey to prepare their side for the World Cup.
Paulo Bento’s side will face Mexico on June 6 in Boston and then take on the Republic of Ireland four days later at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The team is expected to arrive at their camping base in Campinas, Brazil after the game against Ireland on June 10.
Coach Bento will however name his World Cup squad on May 19 and then open camping preparations two days later in Cascais.
The team will camp in the Portuguese city – during which period they will play Greece in an international friendly - until May 30 before heading to the United States to intensify their preparations.
Portugal will play Cameroon on Wednesday in their first warm up game of the year.
The European side open their Group G campaign at the World Cup against Germany on June 16 in Salvador, Bahia before facing USA and then Ghana on June 22 and June 26 in Manaus, Amazonas and Brasilia respectively.
