Ghanaian defender Sam Mensah will undergo further test at his Swedish side Orebo to ascertan whether he can continue playing football following heart problem.

The African youngster was rushed to an emergency room after he complained of chest pains following their league game against GIF Sundsvall on Saturday.

He had only come on as a second half substitute for the Swedish side.

The club’s assistant manager Azxel Kjal has confirmed the Ghanaian is responding to treatment and will only be allowed to join the rest of the squad after further test are concluded.

“He will not train for a while. When such a thing happens, you certainly do not work out. Right now he must rest and recover. He has been very tired.” he said.

Mensah, a former Right to Dream, joined Orebro from Ostersunds last season.
