Orlando Pirates have confirmed that Ghana defender Edwin Gyimah has been granted work permit that makes him available for selection for Tuesday's Absa Premiership clash against SuperSport United in Polokwane.

Gyimah signed for the Buccaneers on a free transfer after ending a one year deal with Mpumalanga Black Aces last season.

Pirates administrator Floyd Mbele confirmed via Pirates' official twitter page that Gyimah and striker Tendai Ndoro have been registered and will be able to take the field against Matsatsantsa.

"We're happy to finalise their registration. Both players are vital to our aspirations in what will be a long season ahead," Mbele said.

"The addition of these two will most certainly bolster the squad in key areas of the pitch, their experience will be great for us."

Gyimah played three seasons for SuperSport United in 2011 and was named the club's player of the season at the end of the 2012/2013.
