Hearts of Oak legend Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour has urged patience from the club followers in restoring the team’s lost glory.

The Phobians are struggling to reclaim their spot as Ghana’s leading team haven been unable to win a major title in three years.

Hearts’ title barrenness has seen many bemoan the state of affairs of the club and as a result suggesting several ways to mitigating the rot.

But Kuffour who won several domestic and continental titles during his time says a whole lot of patience is needed to rebuild a winsome side again that will make a clean sweep of titles.

“I think everything is patience and Hearts of Oak’s management have to go in for experienced players,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“People who are hungry and ready to die for the team but not to play for themselves to ensure the team regains its form.”

Hearts are looking to launch a major assault on the transfer market to raise a solid team capable of wrestling the Premier League title from rivals Asante Kotoko.
