Hearts of Oak striker Edwin Osei Pele is bitter at the club's decision to block a move to Greek giants Panathinaikos at the start of the season.

The former Kessben FC player was the toast of the fans in the off-season after he shone in the Top Four tournament.

He has fallen down the pecking order and struggling on the bench for playing time.

"I had a lot of offers at the beginning of the season but they denied me all, claiming the club is not doing well in the league and so will not allow me to leave. Panathinaikos and other clubs from Europe," Osei Pele told Asempa FM

"I have played with all my heart for the club since I joined them but it seems the club is not willing to help us. I am not getting anything from playing for Hearts," he continued

He also alleged that the club barred him from joining three national teams this year.

"For instance in the local Black Stars, I scored in all the friendly games we played while I was with the squad but when the final list was released, my name was out. I was told Hearts told them they will not release me for the tournament. Same with the U23 team," He concluded.

Hearts of Oak have however not reacted to the allegations by the striker.
