Striker Mahatma Otoo is banking on Hearts of Oak to choose the right club for him amidst heightened interest for his services.
The 21-year-old is perhaps the most sought after player in the Ghana Premier League following an excellent season with the Phobians that ended with him clinching the Goal King award.
Otoo scored 20 goals to win the top scorerââ¬â¢s award by a quite a distance while playing his leadership role impressively as captain to help Hearts recover from a disastrous first round campaign.
There are now several reports of interests from Benfica, Mamelodi Sundowns and TP Mazembe for his services.
But Hearts own the transfer rights of the yet-to-be-capped Ghana international with one year left on his existing deal.
The club is thus is negotiations with interested parties for a deal to be struck.
Otoo however hopes the former African champions make the right decision on where his club future lies by the time the next football season resumes.
ââ¬ÅThere are lots of negotiations going onâ⬦..since nothing has been decided, I cannot confirm anything, neither can I come out to say which club I would like to join because you never know what would happen,â⬠he told Kumasi-based Angel FM.
ââ¬ÅBecause there are many clubs interested in my services, the transfer fee would probably rise and Hearts of Oak will get a lot of money if I was to leave the club.
ââ¬ÅLet us all pray that Hearts of Oak would choose the right club for me to move to.ââ¬
