Mahatma Otoo has boosted Asante Kotoko's ambition of signing him by revealing he is unsure of his future at Hearts of Oak.

The 20-year-old has become a major transfer subject this post-season after the Premier League champions presented an audacious bid to the Phobians for their leading striker.

Though Hearts have declared the 2011 All Africa Games top scorer and gold medalist unavailable for transfer, they are being guided by a policy which allows a player to decide whether or not he'll like to stay or move on.

Thus, Chief Executive Fred Crentsil will be holding a showdown meeting with the former Sporting Mirren player this week before making a definite decision to either sell or retain.

Otoo has however raised serious doubts in the minds of the otherwise relaxed Phobians by hinting he could well quit the club in favour of a potentially lucrative move to arch rivals Asante Kotoko depending on how the meeting with the Chief Executive goes.

“I have one more year on my contract with Hearts of Oak and my team are yet to call me to confirm the reports (of the bid from Kotoko),” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“After, we will sit down and have a discussion whether I have to leave or not. So I first have to speak to the Chief Executive before coming out to say something about the report.

“I don’t discuss hypothetical situations, we have to face face facts therefore when we get to the bridge, we will cross it.

“So we wait and see what will happen in the meeting, after that, I can talk about my future.”
