Outgoing Chief executive office of Asante Kotoko Samuel Opoku Nti has thrown his weight behind Samuel Osei Kuffour to lead the club to glory.

The former Ghana and Bayern Munich star is expected to be confimed as president of the two time CAF champions League winners by the end of this week.

Kuffour has been given the liberty and colossal power by club owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to appoint his new board and management to steer the club back to its glory days and Samuel Opoku Nti who is making way for him says he will support him in any capacity.

“The most important thing is Asante Kotoko and if Nana decides the only thing I can says is to be grateful to him for the opportunity,” Opoku Nti told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I will support him in any way I can because at the end of the day it’s the progress of Kotoko that we all want.”

"I have no doubt with the right people he ( Kuffour) will be able to lead the club to where we all want it to be."
