Palermo kid Afriyie Acquah earns Ghana debut call for Chile friendly

Palermo teenager Afriyie Acquah has earned his debut Ghana call-up for this month's friendly against Chile.

The Ghana youth international has caught the eyes of coach Goran Stevanovic as he seeks to strengthen his squad for 2013 Africa and World Cup qualifiers.

Acquah has played 21 appearances for Palermo in all competitions this season.

The 18-year-old has earned rave reviews for his work rate and creativity after breaking into the Palermo first team last season.

Acquah played for Ghana's Under-23 side in the first leg of the 2011 All Africa Games final qualifier against Nigeria away.
