Serbian trainer Kosta Papic has lauded the efforts of his Ghanaian quartet of Isaac Boakye, Ernest Boakye, Kenneth Asamoah and Yaw Berko in helping Young Africans win the Tanzanian League title.

Young Africans defeated Toto Africans 3-0 in a nerve-shredding final day fixture at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium on Sunday.

The win ensured the title for Yanga as defending champions Simba also had their noses close to it.

Papic said the Ghanaian quartet in his team played an influential role.

" I am happy for winning back the title for Yanga, but I must emphasize that the four Ghanaian players in the team played a very influential role in winning of this title. They are really good players," Papic said.

Papic was sacked by Hearts of Oak in June 2009 after a string of unimpressive displays in the season.
