Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade are set to make an official offer for Ghana striker Prince Tagoe who is a free agent.

The 26-year-old has left Turkish giants Bursaspor on mutual consent and he is on the market looking for a new club.

Tagoe played on loan at Partizan from TSG Hoffenheim in the 2010/2011 season where he won the League and Cup double.

He scored 12 goals (9 league and 3 cup goals) in all competitions.

That happens to be the only successful spell he has had in Europe in his professional career.

Tagoe spent the second half of last season on loan at Saudi side Ittifaq where he scored one goal in 8 appearances.

  1. Alex says:

Tagoe is a great player, with excelent sense for orientation, nice defensive skills, and great attacker. Well, he had no luck in Europe, but I remember his days in Partizan Belgrade, he was one of the best, crowd loved him. Now, Partizan need experienced players to make team. At the moment youngsters can’t play against even average European teams so management is looking for experienced players to lead this squad. Former Manchester United player Eric Djemba-Djemba has signed for Partizan few days ago and I guess only Tagoe is missing to complete the team, along with other internationals currently playing in Partizan.

Ghana has a lot of great talented players but unfortunately a lot of their dont play in the best world clubs. That makes national team very vulnerable and with no experience for international competitions, such as the most important – World Cup.

    You’re welcome Tagoe, always!
