Patrice Carteron remains coy on TP Mazembe's pursuit of Kofi Owusu

TP Mazembe coach Patrice Carteron has remained tight-lipped on reports that he will sign Ghanaian striker Kofi Owusu.

Owusu has been strongly linked with a move to the Congolese giants following an exciting season with Berekum Chelsea.

The former Aduana Stars goal poacher has consistenly claimed a deal has been reached with the African champions over a possible move.

But TP Mazembe coach Patrice Carteron does not want to be drawn into the matter and says he's yet to finalize his potential additions.

‘Well, he is a good player and I just saw him in action. We are looking to make some additions to our squad, but haven’t marked any particular player or players,’ ”, he told the Ghanaian media

‘Who knows he might be one of them, but for now we don’t know.’

Owusu featured for Ghana’s Dream Team as they suffered a 3-1 defeat to TP Mazembe during the 2015 Mo Ibrahim Governance Cup on Sunday.
