Black Stars midfielders Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Rabiu Mohammed were among Ghanaian stars who scored over the weekend for their various clubs in various European clubs. 

Badu scored his fourth goal of the season for Udinese while Rabiu also grabbed his maiden goal in the Russian top-flight for Kuban Krasnodar.

Striker Jordan Ayew was on target for relegation-battling Sochaux while Ebenezer Assifuah also claimed a priceless win for FC Sion in the Swiss Super League.

Elsewhere in lower-tier leagues, there were goals for former Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba in Spain and Kwasi Okyere Wriedt in Germany.

FRANCE

Black Stars defender John Boye sat on the Stade Rennes bench and watched their 2-0 defeat to Guingamp in the Coupe de France final on Saturday night.

Defender Jonathan Mensah was brought on in the 77th minute by Evian TG who slipped to a 1-0 loss at Stade Reims.

Jordan Ayew scored the second goal and lasted 81 minutes for Sochaux who posted a 2-0 win over OG Nice in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday night.

Striker Abdul Majeed Waris was in full time action for Valenciennes whose relegation fight suffered a jolt after losing 1-0 against Bordeaux at home on Sunday night.

Andre Ayew helped Olympique Marseille to post a 4-2 win over Olympique Lyon in the French Ligue 1 top-liner on Sunday night.

In the League 2, striker Kwame Nsor watched from the stands as his promoted Metz side drew 1-1 with Tours on Friday night.

Caen moved second on the log after dismantling CA Bastia 6-1 at the Stade Michel d'Ornano on Friday. AS Monaco loanee Dennis Appiah sat on the Caen bench.

On-loan FC Sion striker Ben Amofa missed Strasbourg's 3-1 win at Le Poiré-sur-Vie due to injury.

Ex-Ghana U17 star Charles Boateng was in action for Avranches in the CFA when they condemend Fontenay to a 6-1 defeat at the Stade René Fenouillère.

Youngster David Appiah could not make the Monaco II squad that lost 3-2 at Consolat Marseille on Saturday evening.

GERMANY

Kevin-Prince Boateng was in full time action for Schalke 04 who defeated Freiburg 2-0 on Saturday afternoon. Anthony Annan was not in the Schalke first team squad for the game.

Karim Bellarabi lasted 88 minutes for relegated Eintracht Braunschweig who were beaten 1-0 by Augsburg.

In the Bundesliga II, Arminia Bielefeld played a pulsating 0-0 draw with FSV Frankfurt in the Bundesliga II on Sunday. Ghanaian-German born defender Marcel Appiah came in the 67th minute to play for Bielefeld.

Greuther Furth enhanced their promotion chances with a 6-0 drubbing of Energie Cottbus. Midfielder Charles Takyi was not in the Cottbus team but full-back Baba Rahman was introduced 14 minutes from full-time.

German-born midfielder Reagy Ofosu sat on the Ingolstadt bench when they posted a 2-0 victory over Sandhausen on Sunday.

In the Liga 3, Denis Danso-Weidlich played full throttle for Hansa Rostock who held Rot-Weiß Erfurt to a 1-1 draw in a close contest on Saturday.

Evans Owusu Nyarko played until the 94th minute for Borussia Dortmund II who held Holstein Kiel to a 0-0 draw.

Jeff Gyasi played the entire first 45 minutes for Elversberg who drew 1-1 with Chemnitzer FC. However German-born Frederick Kyereh was not in the Elversberg team for the game.

Versatile Ghanaian forward Philemon Ofosu-Aryeh completed the entire 90 minutes of the game for MSV Duisburg who lost 3-1 at Unterhaching.

Ghanaian-born Canadian Randy Edwini-Bonsu played full throttle for Stuttgarter Kickers who slipped to a 2-0 loss against bottom-placed Wacker Burghausen on Sunday afternoon.

In the Regionalliga, American-born Ghanaian winger Joseph Claude-Gyau was not in the TSG Hoffenheim II team tat drew 2-2 at Baunatal.

In other games, St Pauli II posted a 5-0 win over Victoria Hamburg. Kwasi Okyere Wriedt was in full time action for Pauli and scored twice. German-born Ghanaian defender Jerry Sampaney also played the entire 90 minutes for Victoria Hamburg.

Christopher Avevor was in full time action for Hannover 96 II who were held to a 1-1 draw by Havelse.

RUSSIA

In the Premier League Mohammed Fuseini warmed the bench for Terek Grozny who suffered a 3-0 defeat against Anzhi on Sunday afternoon.

Winger Wakaso Mubarak came off the Rubin Kazan bench in the 53rd minute to play in their 1-0 home win over Ural on Sunday.

Rabiu Mohammed came off the Kuban' Krasnodar bench in the 65th minute and scored four minutes later in their 4-0 home victory over Krylya Sovetov on Saturday.

Former Ghana U20 invitee Patrick Twumasi warmed the Amkar Perm' bench in their 3-1 home reverse against CSKA Moscow.

PORTUGAL

In the Liga Sagres, Ghana full-back David Addy played 18 minutes plus added-time for Vitória Guimarães who drew 0-0 with Académica Coinbra. Youngster Bernard Mensah could not make the Vitória Guimarães squad for the game.

Former Ghana winger Haminu Dramani was not in the Gil Vicente side that lost 1-0 against Arouca on Sunday.

Rio Ave and Paços de Ferreira settled for a 0-0 draw. Ghanaian youngster Osei Barnes came off the Paços de Ferreira bench in the 80th minute to mark his top-flight debut. But Ernest Ohemeng could not make the Rio Ave first team squad.

Alhassan Wakaso was in action for Portimonense who recorded a 3-2 loss at Chaves on Saturday afternoon.

TURKEY

Jerry Akaminko was dropped to the Eski?ehirspor bench when they lost 4-1 against Kayserispor.

In the second-tier league, striker Shaibu Yakubu could not make the 1461 Trabzon team when they thrashed Tav?anl? Linyitspor 4-0. Torric Jebrin is nursing an injury and missed the game.

Balikesirspor narrowed the gap at the top of the table after beating leaders Istanbul BB 2-1. Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson remained on the Bali bench while striker Kwame Karikari returned from injury to play the last 18 minutes of the game.

Emmanuel Osei Banahene lasted only the first 45 minutes for Sanliurfaspor and could not score for them as they lost 4-3 against Odurspor.

ITALY

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu scored his fourth goal of the season for Udinese when they destroyed Livorno 5-2 at the Stadio Communale Fruili. He played the entire 90 minutes of the game. On-loan Inter Milan midfielder Alfred Duncan was replaced after 77 minutes.

On-loan AC Milan forward Kingsley Boateng watched from the Catania bench as they surprised themselves with a 4-1 victory over AS Roma on Sunday afternoon.

Emmanuel Gyasi could not make the Torino first team squad for their trip to Chievo Verona which ended in a 1-0 victory.

Midfielder Isaac Cofie played 73 minutes for Genoa who drew 0-o with Bologna.

Afriyie Acquah played full throttle for Parma when they posted a comfortable 2-0 win over Sampdoria.

Sulley Muntari climbed off the AC Milan bench in the 72nd minute to play in their 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the Milan derby on Sunday night. Michael Essien warmed the Rossoneris bench.

In the Serie B, Fiorentina defender Nii Nortey Ashong sat on the Spezia bench when they squeezed a 2-1 victory over Reggina.

Genoa loanee Moro Al-Hassan was on the Cesena bench when they beat Avellino 2-0.

Neither Mase Nana Addo Welbeck nor Isaac Ntow was in the Brescia team that suffered a 3-1 home loss to Empoli.

Ghana defender Masahudu Alhassan missed Latina's 1-1 draw with Juve Stabia due to suspension.

Maxwell Acosty played 29 minutes for Carpi who beat Pescara 2-0 at the Stadio Sandro Cabassi.

Amidu Salifu was a full-timer for Modena who beat Siena 3-1 at their own backyard.

In the third-tier league, Fiorentina loanee Daniel Kofi Agyei came off the bench in the 75th minute to play for Benevento who drew 3-3 with Prato.

NORWAY

IK Start are still without a win in their last three games of the campaign after drawing 1-1 with FK Brann. Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante played 89 minutes for them in the stalemate.

Former Hearts of Oak striker Mahatma Otoo played the entire regulation minutes for Sogndal who lost 2-0 at Lillestrøm on Sunday afternoon. 

Stromsgodset restored their winning run with a smooth 2-0 win over Bodø / Glimt. Ghana keeper Adam Kwarasey manned the post for Stroms while midfielder Mohammed Abu also played 90 minutes of the game.

In the Division One, HamKam were beaten 2-0 at their own backyard by Byne. Aziz Idriz played for HamKam while former Ghana U17 captain Paul Addo was played the full 90 minutes for Bryne.

SWITZERLAND

Ebenezer Assifuah's lucky goal gave FC Sion a surprising 1-0 away victory over Luzern in the Super League on Saturday afternoon. Assifuah was replaced in the 57th minute while winger Ishmael Yartey came off the bench in the 75th minute to play for Sion.

Former Hearts of Oak striker Samuel Afum played 42 minutes for Young Boys Bern who were demolished 5-0 by Grasshoppers on Sunday afternoon.

In the Challenge League, Ghanaian-born Swiss youth international Kofi Nimeley was in full time action for Locarno who drew 2-2 with Winterthur.

SPAIN

Striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom played 52 minutes for Elche FC who beat Malaga 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

In the Segunda Division, on-loan Atletico Madrid loanee Thomas Partey was in full time action for Real Mallorca who lost 2-0 against Eibar on Saturday.

Isaac Nana Asare played for Atletico Madrid II in their 2-0 home victory over Sestao River.

Richard Boateng was in the Granada II team that lost 2-0 against El Palo. Clifford Aboagye was not in the Granada squad for the game.

George Ofosu was on the Ecija bench when they lost 3-1 against Sevilla II.

Goalkeeper Razak Brimah manned the post for Cordoba II who beat leaders Albacete 2-1 at their own backyard.

Midfielder Paul Quaye helped Espanyol II to beat Valencia II 4-2. Yeboah Ibrahim failed to make the Espanyol squad for the game.

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba scored for Elche FC II when they beat Reus Deportiu 3-0 on Sunday night.

ENGLAND

Derek Boateng watched from the screen as his Fulham side suffered relegation from the Premiership after losing 4-1 at Stoke City.

In the Championship, Birmingham City amazingly avoided relegation after drawing 2-2 at Bolton Wanderers. Youngster Koby Arthur and Akwasi Asante could not make the Birmingham squad for the game.

Winger Albert Adomah was replaced in first-half added time when Middlesbrough condemned relegated Yeovil Town to a 4-1 defeat. Former Chelsea youth team player Nana Ofori Twumasi was introduced in the 62nd minute by Yeovil.

Queens Park Rangers posted a 3-2 win over Barnsley. Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong was not in the Barnsley team for the game but West Ham United loanee Nana Boakye-Yiadom sat on the Barnsley bench.

Jeffrey Schulpp returned from injury to sit on the Leicester City bench in their 1-0 win over Doncaster Rovers.

In the League One, former Manchester City youth team defender Curtis Obeng played for Stevenage who lost 2-0 against Brentford.

Former Liverpool youth team striker David Amoo played for Carlisle who 3-0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

HOLLAND

PEC Zwolle managed to a hold FC Twente to a 2-2 drawn game at the De Grolsch Veste. Ghana youngster Shadrach Eghan sat on the bench Twente bench while striker Fred Benson came off the bench to play the last 13 minutes for Zwolle.

FC Groningen finished an Europa League play-off spot after beating Heracles Alemlo 3-1. Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Johan Kappelhof played in central defence for Groningen. Midfielder Kwame Quansah is the only Ghanaian player who was in the Heracles team for the game. Both Matthew Amoah and Edwin Gyasi were out of the squad.

PSV Eindhoven secured an automatic Europa League spot after beating NAC Breda 2-0. Dutch-born Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Sarpong played the last 20 minutes for NAC at the Philips Arena. Half-Ghanaian Memphis Depay scored the first goal for PSV.

Defender Mitch Apau played as a right-back for RKC Waalwijk who lost 3-0 at home to Heerenveen.

Black Stars winger Christian Atsu played the entire 90 minutes for Vitesse Arnhem who lost 2-1 at FC Utrecht on the final day of the regular season.

On-loan Feyenoord winger Elvis Manu missed Cambuur's 2-1 home loss against ADO Den Haag.

In the second-tier league, Swedish-born striker Patrick Amoah played 32 minutes for Fortuna Sittard who suffered a 3-1 loss against De Graafschap.

SWEDEN

Mjällby lifted themselves from the foot of the table after beating newly-promoted Halmstad BK 2-1. Former Heart of Lions midfielder Kwame Bonsu played 59 minutes for Mjällby while King Osei Gyan played the full 90 minutes for Halmstad.

James Frempong warmed the Norrköping bench when they lost 3-0 against Brommapojkarna.

Former Ghana U17 captain Nasiru Mohammed was unused by BK Hacken who posted a 2-1 win over champions Malmo FF.

Åtvidaberg and Djurgarden split points in a 1-1 drawn game at the Kopparvallen. Mohammed Abubakari played the entire 90 minutes for Åtvidaberg while Yussif Chibsah played the last 12 minutes for Djurgarden. Daniel Amartey missed the game with suspension.

Sam Mensah climbed off the Örebro bench to play the last 30 minutes for them in their 2-0 defeat at Kalmar on Sunday evening.

DENMARK

Brøndby compounded the misery of FC Copenhagen by holding them to a 1-1 draw. Danish-born Ghanaian Danny Amankwaa played the last 7 minutes of the game for Copenhagen.

Francis Dickoh was a pillar in defence for Midtjylland who thrashed Vestsjælland 3-1. Kolja Afriyie missed out of the Midtjylland squad.

German-born Ghanaian defender Davidson Drobo-Ampem missed Esbjerg's 2-0 away victory over AaB.

Kevin Mensah was booked in the 79th minute and played full throttle for Viborg who lost 1-0 at SønderjyskE. Kevin's twin brother Jeff Mensah sat on the Viborg bench.

FINLAND

Former Asante Kotoko defender Gideon Baah played for HJK who managed a 2-0 away win over VPS.

Former Right to Drew Academy graduate Thomas Agyiri played for TPS who lost 2-0 against RoPS on Saturday.

BELGIUM

In the Championship Play-offs, Anderlecht took a giant step towards the title after beating Club Brugge 1-0 on Sunday evening. Ghana winger Frank Acheampong played the last 8 minutes for the title-holders.

Lokeren shocked KRC Genk by beating them 2-1 at the Cristal Arena. Ghana midfielder Bennard Kumordzi was in full time action for Genk and youngster Eugene Nana Ansah sat on the Lokeren bench. Denis Odoi played the entire 90 minutes of the game for Lokeren.

Daniel Opare played 90 minutes in a bad-tempered game between Standard Liege and Zulte-Waregem which Liege won 4-1. Zulte-Waregem finished the tie with 8 players as they had 8 men sent off.

Elsewhere in the Europa League Play-offs, Nana Akwasi Asare was in full-time action for KAA Gent who thrashed Lierse SK 4-0.

Former Heart of Lions midfielder Abraham Kudemor was unused by Sporting Charleroi who lost 2-1 at Kortrijk on Saturday afternoon.

KV Mechelen recorded their win of the campaign after beating Cercle Brugge 2-0. French-born Ghanaian defender Jerry Vandam played the full 90 minutes for Mechelen while Abdul Yakinu-Iddi returned from injury to play the last 8 minutes for them. Frederick Boi sat on the Cercle Brugge bench.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Neither Kevin Luckassen nor Isaac Sackey was in the Slovan Liberec side that lost 4-1 at Znojmo in the Czech Republican top-flight on Saturday.

SCOTLAND

Hibernian and Patrick Thistle settled for a 1-1 draw in a relegation dogfight. Ghanaian defender Daniel Boateng was not in the Hibernian team so was Prince Buaben for Patrick Thistle.

HUNGARY

Honvéd's losing run continued as Videoton defeated them 1-0 on Saturday. Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Mensah played the entire game for them.

Aaron Addo Dankwa was omitted from the Kaposvári Rákóczi squad that lost 2-0 against Pécsi MFC.

UNITED STATES

In the MSL, Gershon Kwoffie played the entire 90 minutes and helped Vancouver Whitecaps to be San Jose Earthquakes 3-2.

Patrick Nyarko played 62 minutes for Chicago Fire who suffered a 3-2 home loss against Real Salt Lake.

Dominic Oduro came off the bench in the 46th minute to play for Columbus Crew who lost 2-0 against Sporting Kansas City.

SERBIA

Former Hearts of Oak captain Karim Alhassan was not in the Radnicki 1923 team that beat Cukaricki 1-0.

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Obeng Regan played the entire 90 minutes for Napredak who posted a 3-1 victory over Sloboda. Compatriot Abraham Frimpong sat on the Napredak bench for the game.

SLOVAKIA

Former Black Stars captain John Mensah is yet to return to action for FC Nitra as he was not in their team that drew 0-0 on Saturday against Dukla in the Slovakian Super League.
