Head coach Persib Bandung Djadjang Nurdjaman has told his outfit not to expect too much from marquee signing, Michael Essien.

Ghanaian midfielder Michael Essien has been very influential to the side as almost all eyes are on the former Chelsea star.

But, the Pasundan-based club has not won a single match in their two matches in League 1.

Moreover, consider the player who entered the star category as a support team. When touched on the performance of its marquee player, Essien, Djadjang confirms the performance is not bad.

"Yes our marque player is ugly ugly. Great. Essien has also scored goals, "said Djanur, his nickname to the media crew in Bandung on Thursday (27/4).

He reminded, the golden age of Essien is actually passed and the performance is not as good as when still playing in the Premier League competition first. "Do not imagine the appearance of marquee players who come as good as when he appeared in previous teams," explained the mustache trainer.

Currently, Djadjang stay maximize and polish the existing players in order to be more solidly. He believes Persib performance can be further improved.
