Phase one of Glo Soccer Academy screening ends in Kumasi

Phase one of the screening process of the maiden Glo Soccer Academy has ended in Kumasi.

Over 200 talented teenagers between the ages of 14-17 were screened in the two-day session at the Paa Joe Park (KNUST).

The technical group leading the selection process which includes ex Ghana and Nigeria internationals; Anthony Baffoe and Tijani Babangida respectively will now make a short list of the screened participants.

The screening exercise will now move to the Northern Regional capital of Tamale on October 12 before rounding up in Ghana in Accra a week later.

Thirty thirty (33) talented youngsters will be selected after the screening exercise which will travel to six other venues in Benin and Nigeria to be entered into a house for a Soccer Reality show.

Sixteen out of the 33 will eventually get the opportunity to train with the Manchester United Soccer School with the others winning mouthwatering prizes.
