Ghanaian midfielder Enock Adu Kofi was officially crowned Swedish league champions after winning the title with Malmo FF on Saturday. 

The crowning happened before kick-off of Saturday's 2-0 win over Brommapojkarna at the Swedbank Stadion.

"It has been a great season for me and I'm very happy with the title. It can only go further to push me for more victory and success," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Adu joined Malmo in the summer transfer from Belgian side Club Brugge after finishing a loan spell in Norway with Stabaek and he has played all 14 games since his arrival at the club.

Malmo are still in competition in the Uefa Champions League, after winning the Swedish title and Adu is playing a key role in their campaign, marshaling their midfield and helping them win against Olympiakos.

"We are still in competition though we lost heavily at Atletico but we want to stay in the competition and win and do more."

This is the second time Adu Kofi has won a league title in his club career after winning the Danish Super League title with Nordsjælland.

Before winning the league title in 2012, he won the Danish DBU Pokalen in the 2010/11 season.

He is the only Ghanaian player to win a league title so far this season after Anthony Annan and Gideon Baah who won the Finnish title with HJK Helsinki.
