WAFA SC made a flying start to their season with a huge 2-0 win over giants Asante Kotoko on Saturday in the league opener.

The Academy Boys scored a goal in either half to secure that convincing win at the WAFA Stadium in Sogakope.

Three minutes after the break, Samuel Tetteh slotted in the doubler with a fine finish.

But Kotoko suffered two injuries before half time with goalkeeper Felix Annan and defender Tuffour Frimpong being replaced.
