Kwesi Appiah will be making a second return as head coach of the Ghana national team. 

His re-appointment was confirmed on Tuesday morning by the Ghana Football Association replacing Avram Grant.

Appiah has been handed a two-year contract which takes effect starting 01 May.

He led Ghana to finish fourth at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South African and qualified and coached the team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will start interviewing shortlisted coaches for the vacant Black Stars job this week, Kwesi Nyantakyi has revealed.
