Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has been holding personal gym sessions to keep his fitness ahead of the start of the new Ghana Premier League season.

The 30-year-old has been in Accra in recent weeks following the end of the 2014/15 season where he helped AshantiGold to Premier League success.

Dauda is likely to sing a fresh contract with the Miners after his initial one-year contract expired at the end of last season.

The former Orlando Pirates man, like a true professional, has been holding intense gym sessions to ensure he maintains his shape.

Dauda is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to regain his spot as the first choice goalkeeper of the Black Stars – a position he has lost to Spain-based Razak Brimah for over a year now.

He is expected to rejoin AshantiGold anytime soon to begin their pre-season activities.
