PICTURES: Ghana Sports Minister cuts sod for construction of new stadium for New Edubiase

Sports Minister Dr. Mustapha Ahmed did the official sod cutting for the commencement of work on the construction of a new stadium which will be the home of Premier League club New Edubiase.

The Sports Minister was joined by the Chiefs of the New Edubiase community and the President of New Edubiase FC at the sod cutting ceremony on Wednesday.

New Edubiase have been alternating between Berkwai and the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi for their home matches in the Ghanaian top flight.

The completion of the new stadium will now see the club permanently based in New Edubiase.
