Lazio coach Stefano Pioli has revealed the club must bounce back immediately from the midweek Coppa Italia defeat against Juventus when Chievo visit the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Sunday afternoon.
The 50-year-old coach also believes the Gialloblu will provide a difficult test for his squad who have gone five league games without a defeat.
“Defeats are always a disappointment, but on Wednesday night the team proved to be capable of playing against a very strong opponent,” Pioli told reporters ahead of the clash.
“Now we must think of the championship, we must fight again for the competitions that we compete in.
“There is only one result and goal for us, to play every game to win.
“Chievo will come here to try and win the game, but we’ll have to do it ourselves with speed and technical precision.”
