Player Ratings: How the Black Stars rated against the Hawks in Lome
Baba Rahman was Ghana's best performer

Augsburg defender Abdul Baba Rahman showed enough promise as he dazzled in Ghana's 3-2 victory over Togo in Lome on Wednesday evening.

The 20-year-old set up a goal for Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu while captain Asamoah Gyan set a new milestone by scoring his 43rd Ghana goal.

Everton youngster Christian Atsu netted the match winner for Ghana.

Kwesi Appiah handed Aduana Stars keeper Stephen Adams his debut in Lome as the Black Stars went redemption seeking against the Hawks.

While former Asante Kotoko full-back Baba Rahman marked his competitive debut in the seniors shirt.

So, who was the standout performer and Who was below par? Here are Akyereko Frimpong Manson's player ratings from the Stade de Kegue.

Stephen Adams 5.5/10

Pulled a wonderful save late in the first-half to help Ghana end the half with a 2-1 lead. He also read the game well and knew his stuffs. A debut to cherish.

Harrison Afful 6/10

Afful was just a little above himself. Dazzled on the flanks and joined the attack at will.

Baba Rahman 7/10

The Augsburg man was crusading and paraded the lines with impressive runs. One of his incisive crosses found Agyemang-Badu which he headed home in the 33rd minute.

Jonathan Mensah 6.5/10

Commanding, militant and diligent. The Evian man was strong in defence, patrolled his lines to such a great ability. Wonderful evening.

Awal Mohammed 6.5/10

Ghana's No nonsense man. What a debut start to make. The Maritzburg United defender partnered well with Jonathan Mensah in central defence. He held Emmanuel Adebayor and his charges to book and limited their opportunities.

Agyemang Badu 6/10

The Udinese put Ghana ahead with a spectacular header in the 33rd minute. Overall, had a good game though he was sometimes exposed in the middle as he failed to firm the game up. Replaced in the 82nd minute by Wakaso Mubarak.

Christian Atsu 6/10

Was mainly anonymous in the first-half and early stages of the second department but warmly himself well into play as the clock wore on. Held the ball well and created spaces for him. He banged home the winner for Ghana.

Kwadwo Asamoah 5.5/10

Kwadwo's brilliant cross fetched Ghana the leveller as Gyan connected home his effort. He was not very alive in the game especially in the second-half.

Asamoah Gyan 6.5/10

Netted his 43rd international goal for Ghana after connecting Kwadwo Asamoah's effort with a great header. Must also be credited for Christian Atsu's winner as his intelligent play set the Everton man up for the goal.

Jordan Ayew 5.5/10

Jordan started ahead of Majeed Waris and formed a solid attacking partnership with Asamoah Gyan though he didn't look very sharp in the first-half. Couldn't keep his composure to finish a nice move he initiated. Held the ball well and caused problems for the Togolese defence.

Andre Ayew 6/10

Tenacious enough to stifle the Togolese defence. Held the ball well and was dangerous going forward. Replaced by Rabiu Mohammed mid-way through the second-half.
