Players with regular playing time with their respective clubs will get chance under new Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

Appiah, 56, is resolved to rewrite the script after agreeing a two-year deal with the Ghana FA.

The Sudan-based tactician has signaled his intention to work with only players who enjoy regular playing times at their respective clubs.

That means the likes of in-form Belgium-based  Nana Kwesi Asare, Genoa midfielder Isaac Coffie as well as Joseph Alfred Duncan are likely to pass the criteria for selection into the team.

Several of the established players who are key for their respective sides are expected to maintain their places in the team.

Captain Asamoah Gyan, deputy Andre Ayew, Mubarak Wakaso, Thomas Partey, John Boye, Harrison Afful and Kwadwo Asamoah are sure bet of retaining their places in the team.

Those on the fringes and bench-warmers must work their sucks off to earn a call-up into the team.

Appiah is seeking to overhaul the team which has failed to win an elusive Africa Cup of Nations crown in his second stint.
