Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris says he would achieve one of his career goals if he plays at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals Brazil.
The 22-year-old has been a firm staple of the Black Stars squad and remains one of the sure bets to make this summerââ¬â¢s tournament.
ââ¬ÅAs for the world cup itââ¬â¢s a dream for all young players and obviously I am one. One day if I get to play in the world cup then I would have lived one of my goals as a football,â⬠Waris said.
ââ¬ÅI have been called for the next friendly game for my country. I have been part of the team for some time now and have played in some important games for my country.ââ¬
Waris has been in top form at club and has registered four goals in eight matches since joining French Ligue 1 side Valenciennes on loan in January from Spartak Moscow.
