Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu hopes his side can adjust to conditions in Cape Town where the play Libya in the final of the African Nations Championship.

The Local Black Stars have played all five matches at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein and this will be a new terrain for them.

The team arrived in Cape Town on Thursday morning to continue preparations for the grande-finale.

Konadu fears the change in environment could have a negative effect on his troops.

“Playing away from Bloemfontein, which has become our home, will have some impact on us when we play Libya in the final in Cape Town,” Konadu in a post-match interview.

“The people in Mangaung have been behind us and we will miss them in the final but we still intend to do well against Libya, a good side which we know something about.”

Saturday’s final is a repeat of their second Group C match which ended 1-1.

Ghana are chasing their first title since 1982 when they coincidentally defeated Libya on penalties to lift the Africa Cup of Nations.
