PofMade FC midfielder Michael Zanyoh not perturbed by Black Satellite snub; wishes team well

PofMade FC midfielder Michael Zanyoh has sent a goodwill message to Ghana's National U-20 team, Black Satellite ahead of their Africa Youth Championship qualifiers.

Zanyoh was one of the most highly rated midfielders in the camp of the U-20 side during their preparations for the forthcoming Africa Youth Championship first leg qualifier against Algeria.

The talented enforcer was however omitted from the 18-man squad by head coach Jimmy Cobblah for the trip to the North African country.

But the budding midfielder insists he is unperturbed by the snub and says it will motivate him to even work harder as he aims to rejoin the team for their subsequent matches

"I was a bit disappointed after hearing the news but not worried because I know the quality I possess. I thought I did a lot to warrant a position in the team but maybe my best wasn't enough as we always say," Zanyoh told Happy FM.

"But I can assure Ghanaians that the team is in the hands of a good coach who I believe can qualify the team. I learnt so much from him during my short stay with the team and he knows how to motivate a player. He won me over just after our first training session and earned my respect with the manner in which he spoke to me when he broke my omission news to me. I wish him and the team well."

Zanyoh joined PofMade FC on a season long loan following his of terrific performance for Asooya FC during last season’s Greater Accra Division Two League where he netted an impressive 6 goals in as many games.

He was on the radar of Heart of Lions and Amidaus FC during the Ghanaian transfer window but opted to join Asooya to continue his development.
