Ghana Premier League champions Berekum Chelsea have announced that Steve Pollack will arrive on Monday night to take charge as head coach.

He left the Berekum-based side two seasons ago due to ill-health but has since recovered from the heart related disease.

"Everything has been sorted out and he Pollack is expected tonight and reclaim his position as head coach. The team have began pre-season training Orlando Wellington who will become assistant coach," CEO Nana Kwame Nketiah told the club's website berekumchelsea.com on Tuesday.

Pollack's arrival will be crucial as they prepare for their title defence and maiden Caf Champions League campaign.

The club last month ended their relationship with then assistant coach Yusif Abubakar.
