Portuguese top-tier side Futebol Clube de Famalicão have announced the signing of Ghanaian youngster Abdul Wahab Ibrahim on a three-year deal.

The 21-year-old arrived in Portugal in 2017 to play in the juniors of Desportivo de Chaves, the club that discovered him at the WAFA Academy in Ghana.

The young left-back remained in Trás-os-Montes until the end of last season where he made 22 appearances, scoring twice in the Campeonato de Portugal.

Ibrahim is excited to be playing at the Estádio Municipal de Famalicão for the next three years.

"Signing for Futebol Clube de Famalicão is another important step in my career. I know the project that the club outlined and I am very excited to help the club continue its upward process in Portuguese football." he said.
